Sr. Sales Analyst, Builder and P&S Channel

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Onsite - Kohler, WI

Opportunity

The Sr Sales Analyst – Builder and P&S Channel, is responsible for building relationships with Top Builders, Developers and Contractors, understanding their business model, manage programming/reporting systems, establishing processes, parameters, and assist in developing tools to monitor performance, trends, conversions. Support Sales, Marketing, demand planning and management resources in using the systems and tools to their fullest capability; including improved advanced analytics modeling related to key internal and external data (Point of Sale, Inventory, rebates, GDP, housing starts, Construction pipeline etc.)

Specific Responsibilities

  • Compile, analyze, and report sales data, win rates, and customer experience results to company leaders, business unit leaders, and sales teams.

  • Effectively manage Builder and Developer programming tied to rebates, displays, conversions etc.,

  • Provide actionable insights to guide leadership and sales teams in decision-making. Ensure data quality and accuracy within sales system and reports.

  • Monitor customer and market trends, identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of processes. Monitor customer and market trends.

  • Support annual business planning process by providing business-unit level KPIs, forecasts, and goal models.

  • Based on customers channel of business “Builder/Multifamily/Commercial/Hospitality”, work closely with Sales Enablement team to develop Business Intelligence solutions which will meet the needs of the specific customer and aligns with their market go to strategy.

  • Data mine the leading indicators for Plumbing Market “Housing Starts, Hospitality Index, Migration, Economic Indices, Project Pipeline” and consistently feed the actionable insights to Sales and Marketing leadership.

  • Establish metrics that deliver on improved demand planning accuracy and TL delivery/margin internally as well as improved lead time, delivery, turns, reduced reliance on master distribution (improved profitability) and experience for the customer. Value adds to each.

  • Lead the efforts to mine the leads, Opportunities & Project Quotations from Salesforce and CPQ. Enrich the data and provide actionable insights.

  • Drive Trade Promo Management from end to end across all channels.Effective analyze Price elasticity and provide guidance.

  • Establish sustainable processes to consistently and effectively manage and utilize key data sources for rebate tracking such as Point of Sale (POS), Builder closings, and claims.

Skills/Requirements

  • Position requires a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Data Science or Advanced Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science and Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics or a related field and 5+ years of related experience. Knowledge and understanding of project management techniques are highly valued. Experience in at least two different functional areas is preferred. Data science/advanced analytics/machine learning/big data experience preferred.

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Advanced Data & Analytics.

  • Essential: Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, able to act in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a systematic approach to decision-making, picks up knowledge quickly, energizing, highly reliable and positive attitude, team player, flexible and adaptive.

  • Assertiveness and common sense, balancing both business and customer focus. Capable of, and experienced in, working with different functional areas (Sales, Marketing, finance, engineering, and customer service).

  • Exceptional Excel, Power BI and analytical skills.

  • Salesforce, Azure ecosystems and python knowledge is highly desirable.

  • Product & industry knowledge advantageous.

The salary range for this position is $89,800 - $114,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
