About This Role
Role Overview
The Simulator Instructor is responsible for all training activities being delivered in compliance with the authority approval, defined standards and processes and ensures that the highest standards of safety, compliance and training quality are maintained.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Conduct training duties (Classroom, Simulator Sessions, etc…) related to delivering the relevant Type Rating
Assist with the preparation of courseware and training materials, including theoretical examinations, to comply with client and authorities requirements
Monitor the progress of clients / students, and if required, to develop action plans to assist clients / students who are not progressing up to required standards.
Promoting and supporting improvements and enhancements to processes, documentation, courseware, and training materials utilized by the ATO.
Any other duties assigned by the Lead Instructor or DOT
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
Preferably Holds or have held a valid Simulator Instructor Rating, or equivalent rating or certification.
Certificate of ATPL
Has the career of total 2,000 flight hours as a PIC on the Air Transport A/C OR 1000 flight hours as a PIC on the A220 or similar type (320, 330, 737)
Hold / have held an ICAO-recognized ATPL/CPL with minimum ICAO English level 5.
Has a good command and fluency in the English language to be able to facilitate session briefings and training.
Has previous flying experience working for an international airline.
Must be acceptable to the customer airline.
Completed the appointment initial training to be an FSI.
Knowledge, skills, and teaching ability required for FSI.
No prior airline accident history
Previous experience as a simulator Instructor
Selected candidates will be required to work in Korea on a rotational basis.
Conduct on-line or in-person interview.
Complete an on-line CAE assessment test (ADAPT).
Provide a CAE PARC AVIATION curriculum.
