Greene Tweed Inventory Control Analyst in Kulpsville, Pennsylvania

Essential Duties/Responsibilities :

  • Support the development and implementation of a robust cycle counting process through standard work in the SAP / S4-Hana ERP environment.

  • Conduct monthly planned counts, scheduled and managed daily, coordinate with the various functional areas regarding standard workflow and accounting for operational demands.

  • Coordinate with various teams at all levels to communicate plans and expectations for the cycle counting process.

  • Coordinate with management on planning strategies to achieve a 100% cycle count of all inventory bin locations, capturing all materials counted over a calendar year.

  • Work closely with Inventory, Warehouse, Finance, Production, Quality, and Methods to deliver these actions, and provide value added feedback on discrepancies.

  • Deliver daily reporting of counts, discrepancies, and accuracy, along with longitudinal analysis of all data to seek trends and develop corrective actions.

  • Perform root cause analysis actions to determine failure modes, identify top offenders, and provide recommendations and corrective action through daily bridging of gaps in the process.

  • Provide data collection to be reported daily / monthly and contribute to the development and maintenance of KPIs for this role.

  • Act as a trainer and develop super-user status in SAP / S4-Hana to be the champion of inventory integrity.

  • Identify where inventory actions are resulting in errors, and allow for improvement through training, BOM validation, timely transactions, and material handling practices.

  • Execute inventory related improvement initiatives to help reduce discrepancies, safeguard inventory value, and increase cost visibility of the cost of business at Greene Tweed.

  • Provide oversight to required actions that remove obsolete inventory from stock, physically and virtually as directed by Supply Chain and Finance.

  • Identify, solicit and gain support within departments based on identified goals and targets. Deliver on standard work initiatives to ensure delivered results.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required

  • 2-4 years’ experience in a warehouse / inventory setting.

  • Distribution, or inventory leadership experience working with varied levels of hourly and salary teams.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to analyze data and processes to determine root cause and corrective actions.

  • Manage through ambiguity and investigate complex scenarios that involve looking beyond the surface.

  • The ability to interact with other departments and influence their actions to adopt proper behaviors to drive standard work and inventory integrity.

  • Ability to learn the S4-Hana process functions and act as a trainer for the various departments that will be interacting with inventory activities.

  • Ability to work on their own with little direction or direct supervision.

  • A good communicator, who is not afraid to reveal underlying issues and make recommendations on actions.

  • Capable of organizing data into tables, charts, graphs to interpret and communicate information.

  • Able to travel (domestic & international) 25 – 50% varying based on demand.
