JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are growing! Gundersen Health System is seeking a licensed masters level therapist to join our exceptional and supportive Integrated Care Team as a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) in one ofourregionalPrimary Care Clinics (Prairie du Chien WI, or Decorah IA). Gundersen\'s BHCs collaborate with the medical care team to recognize and treat the behavioral health and biopsychosocial wellbeing of Gundersen patients. BHCs assess and diagnose mental health concerns; provide evidence-based interventions; consult with medical staff to develop integrated treatment; and team with patients to build a model of care that meets their needs. BHCs develop lasting relationships with patients, mirroring the type of care they receive in their medical home. Advanced practice clinicians work under the direct supervision of a physician. Clinician staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.
