View this \"Day in the Life\" video What you will do: Fulfill 48 hours per two weeks = 0.6 FTE Work 4 and 8-hour Day and PM shifts; every other weekend and holiday Shifts are: 5am - 9am; 6:30am - 11am; 10:30am - 3pm; 6:30am - 3pm; 2:30pm-7pm; 5pm - 9pm; 6:30pm - 11pm; 2:30pm-11pm Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients who have been affected by brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputations, and debility due to prolonged illness on our 20-bed unit What you will get: Starting pay of \$17/hour + more for experience! Job Description: D/P rotation, every other weekend and holiday, 4-8-hour shifts The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing basic care of patients under the general supervision of an RN in the acute hospital setting. The CNA is also responsible for transporting and transferring patients within the medical complex in a safe and efficient manner. The CNA will also assist with data collection to facilitate the delivery of delegated nursing care. Major Responsibilities: 1. Assists with basic care for patients in the areas of nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility and safety. 2. Transports and transfers patients within the medical complex using appropriate equipment (ex. LIKO ceiling lifts) and utilizing safety precautions as indicated by the patient\'s health status. 3. Assists nursing staff in lifting and ambulating patients using appropriate practice guidelines. 4. Transports bodies to the morgue. 5.
