What you will do: Fulfill a 1.0 FTE; salaried position Provide leadership for Professional Development Nurses (PDNs) and Clinical Nurse Leaders (CNLs) that serve our ICUs (adult, neonatal & pediatric) Obstetric and pediatric inpatient units Surgery & procedural areas Emergency services & urgent cares Affiliate hospitals Provide oversight and guidance for scope of practice, competency assessment, nursing orientation programs, nursing practice standards, nursing professional governance, student clinical placement and more Work collaboratively with fellow department of nursing leaders, clinical operations directors, and many other partners to advance the nursing strategic plan, achieve clinical excellence, and create an outstanding environment to practice nursing.
