POSITION: Engineer

DUTIES: * Understand how Lewis Bolt products are used * Understand all of Lewis Bolt's operational systems, including production, quality/engineering, machine shop, maintenance, and shipping. * Manage and improve upon various Lewis Bolt operating systems. * Design and make modifications to Lewis Bolt products. * Understand and apply railroad & industry standards. * Participate in railroad & industry technical committees. * Interact with customers, Lewis Bolt sales team and internal operational teams.

Example projects: * Develop and implement a modification to an already-existing quality system in production. * Work with a customer to better understand in-the-field product issues and work collaboratively with plant personnel, the customer and team to come up with solutions. * Make a design modification to a product based on customer feedback. * Understand how a new product relates to existing railroad standards.

REQUIREMENTS: * Has a degree in engineering, such as mechanical, aerospace, civil or robotics * Is technically-minded * Has experience with AutoCAD/Inventor or similar programs * Enjoys working with customers * Is a team player * Is a learner * Is proactive

PREFERRED SKILLS: * Project management, manufacturing processes..

WAGE: Salary, Bonus and Benefits: $75,000 to $110,000 with excellent benefit package and bonus program.
