POSITION: Speech Therapist

DUTIES: * Evaluates, plans and administers comprehensive speech therapy modalities/ regimens as prescribed by a physician to patients with speech, voice, language, cognitive-communicative and oral-pharyngeal swallowing disorders for the purpose of improving and/or restoring speech and/or swallowing * Performs accurate and comprehensive speech, language and swallowing assessments. * Obtains physician orders for certification and recertification of speech therapy services. * Coordinates care planning and delivery with the physician and other healthcare team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. * Participates in the department's information management and performance improvement program.

REQUIREMENTS: * Master's/Bachelor's Level Graduate in the area of Speech Therapy or Speech Pathology from an accredited university or college. * Certificates of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology awarded by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. * Current valid Colorado Speech Therapy license. * Current BCLS Certification.

PREFERRED SKILLS: 1 year work experience

WAGE: $34.84-$52.27/hour
