Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Golden State Foods which is one of the largest diversified suppliers to the Quick Service Restaurant industry. QCD has been providing custom distribution services to iconic customers throughout the United States. QCD is a multi-stop, regional delivery service with a focus on customer service.     Schedule: Saturday- Wednesday 8AM Start

    Thursday-Friday off. OT as needed.

    • The expected range for this position is $46,000/yearly (For Hourly, Non-Exempt Roles)Location, confirmed job-related skills, education, experience, and relevant training will be considered in setting the actual starting salary.GSF

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Professional communication and interaction with supervisors, drivers, and warehouse personnel

  • Review and respond to e-mails pertaining receiving communication.

  • Schedule delivery appointments

  • Verify BOL, verify seals intact, on arrival.

  • Interaction and communication with supervisors regarding timing of assignments

  • Print work sheet docs for receiving - pickups, etc.

  • Trailer Tracking Documentation, communications

  • Backhaul communications.

  • Review and Maintain Yard check documentation, bring issues to immediate attention of supervisor.

  • Other tracking – Yard activities …trailers in/out times

  • UPS/Fed Ex/DHL receipt, verification, distribution

  • Receives and enters customer orders by phone, evaluating and modifying as required to ensure accurate and complete orders and a high level of customer service. Disseminates information regarding orders, products, promotions, ordering processes (training), etc.

  • Processes a variety of documents, including load plans, bills of lading, driver trip records, order adjustments, variances, special deliveries, credits and debits, shortage reports, and product complaints to meet customer needs and to maintain complete and accurate records.

  • Prints and distributes customer order forms to ensure an effective and efficient ordering process reflecting customers’ needs and product restrictions.

  • Maintains customer files and records.

  • Scheduling Inbound Appointments in system

  • Creating Receiving Documents for warehouse

  • Receiving Inbounds systematically

  • Cycle Counts

  • Investigating Inventory Discrepancies

  • Inventory Adjustments

  • Warehouse maintenance

  • Location Slotting

  • Familiar with WMS

  • RF Gun experience

  • Hold/Recall/Donation procedures

  • Familiar with FEFO/FIFO rotation

  • Familiar with system implementation

  • Performs other related and assigned duties, as necessary.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to:

Education/Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

2 years of relevant work experience in a warehouse/transportation environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • WMS (B)

  • JDE/JDA (B)

  • Microsoft Office (J)

  • Relevant department concepts, procedures, and regulations (B)

  • Customer service concepts and techniques (B)

  • Basic office equipment and machinery (PCs, copiers, fax machines, adding machines, calculators, etc.) (B)

  • Filing and record-keeping procedures and systems (B)
