TheShorelands & Environmental Assistance{rel="nofollow"} (SEA) program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Headquarter Aquatic Permit Manager*(Environmental Specialist 4) *position.  

This position can be located in any one of the following offices:

Headquarters Office in* *Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"}

Northwest Region Office (NWRO) *in Shoreline, WA{rel="nofollow"}. *Central Region Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA{rel="nofollow"}. Eastern Region Office (ERO) in Spokane, WA{rel="nofollow"}.

 

Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

Please Note: If the final location of this position is determined to be in our Northwest Region Office (NWRO) in Shoreline, WA{rel="noopener" target="_blank"}. there will be an additional 5% pay increase due to its location in King County. In this instance the salary range will be $5776 - $7770 per month. 

In this position, you will be part of a dynamic team that will focus on protecting states waters that are no longer protected by federal law. You will review projects being conducted in water of the state (including wetlands) and coordination with other resource agencies, and other Ecology programs. You will be able to gain knowledge and experience regarding protecting the state water quality, sediment quality, stormwater and wetlands through reviewing projects to ensure that they will meet the state laws and regulations. You will be able to start or expand your career network through coordinating with Tribes, local, state, and federal entities on project actions that may have inter-related environmental impacts.
