Roper St. Francis Sr. Decision Support Analyst - Remote in Ladson, South Carolina

Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Eastern Time)

Job Summary :

This job is a unique combination of financial and information technology roles. This position is responsible for timely and accurate decision support reporting and detailed financial analysis. Responsible for the development and maintenance of decision support computer systems including, design, enhancement, updates, audit, interface and table maintenance. May assist on cost accounting, payer payment modeling, financial proformas as well as productivity reporting.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, or other related field. The equivalent combination of education and financial data analyst experience will also be considered. A CPA or master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.

Experience : At least five years of progressive analyst or accounting experience including a minimum of two years of healthcare experience.

Knowledge/Skills: Extensive and proven analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to work with complex financial systems. Must be able to work independently. Must possess strong written and oral communication skills. Must be able to communicate with hospital leadership. Excellent computer skills.

Work Demands/Environment :

Frequent sitting. Frequently requires long periods of working at a computer. Intermittent walking, standing, stooping, bending. May require lifting or moving items up to 50 lbs. Frequent use of finger/hand dexterity. Constant talking or hearing. Corrected hearing and vision to normal range. No exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue. Possible exposure to infectious materials, communicable diseases and/or other conditions common to a healthcare environment. Normal office environment. Requires work under stressful conditions, deadlines, and/or irregular hours. Ability to read and comprehend.
