DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Tax Accounting team in our National Support Center (NSC) is looking for a Senior Manager of Indirect Tax at their Lafayette Hill office.

This is a hybrid position. Two days a week of remote work and three days a week in the Lafayette Hill, PA office.

About the Role: You will:  * Be responsible for all processes and procedures for corporate indirect tax related matters, including sales/use, personal property, business licenses, and unclaimed property.  * Work collaboratively with various stakeholders internally and externally to provide insights on day-to-day indirect tax operations and address indirect tax aspects of various business queries.  * Manage, recruit, hire, develop and train a team of Senior Accountants.  * Set clear performance expectations and goals for teammates and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide feedback.  * Assess the current state of indirect tax processes and procedures and provide recommendations for the future state.  * Proactively identify indirect tax compliance, planning, and risk mitigation opportunities to maximize the overall tax efficiency.  * Provide guidance and direction on state and local indirect tax audits & inquiries, including review of all responses prior to submission.  * Support indirect tax due diligence and integration of acquisitions.  * Assist in providing outstanding customer service to our Profit Centers by addressing tax questions from the field in a timely manner.  * Stay ahead of changes and updates in relevant indirect tax law.  * Conduct indirect tax and compliance research as necessary.  * Assist with managing relationships with external indirect tax advisors & vendors.  * Be willing to embrace a bottom-up, decentralized culture and assist with special projects, as needed.  * Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.  * Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

About You:  * Bachelor's degree in Accounting with CPA designation and/or advanced degree in taxation highly desirable.  * 7+ years of tax experience, combination of public and industry preferred; strong indirect tax skills  * 3+ years of management experience  * Wholesale distribution experience preferred

Our ideal candidate will also:  * Possess strong tax and accounting skills and the ability to leverage these skills to enhance tax efficiency and financial performance.  * Possess strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and project management skills.  * Practice excellent communication skills, both oral and written.  * Demonstrate strong listening skills, drive, and work ethic.  * Be extremely well organized and detail-oriented to ensure deadlines are met.  * Be resourceful and able to successfully balance competing priorities and deadlines.  * Be able to effectively interact with senior executives, external advisors, and other outside parties.  * Have an extremely strong sense of teamwork and ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization.  * Demonstrate a willingness to make presentations and the ability to educate others on complex indirect tax issues.  * Be adaptable in a frequently changing, fast-paced environment.  * Read, write, speak, and understand English.  * Have strong skills in Microsoft Excel.  * Have experience using Alteryx and/or Power BI.  * Be able to add value to the organization beyond the tax arena.  * Be willing to be hands-on and comfortable in digging into details while understanding the "big picture."
