Job Title: Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

  • We are seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to lead and direct plant maintenance activities, ensuring equipment and facilities are kept in excellent operating conditions.

  • The successful candidate will report to the Manufacturing Manager and will be instrumental in maintaining a cost-effective preventative maintenance program, implementing quality improvement and cost reduction ideas, and developing the technical skillset of the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct plant maintenance activities, ensuring equipment and facilities are kept in strong operating conditions.

  • Report to Manufacturing Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant.

  • Initiate and maintain a cost-effective preventative maintenance program.

  • Implement quality improvement and cost reduction ideas.

  • Contact and work with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results.

  • Maintain spare parts inventory.

  • Purchase materials, parts, and supplies as required.

  • Troubleshoot and solve problems with machinery and equipment.

  • Partner with Maintenance Manager to develop the technical skillset of the maintenance team.
