Job Overview:

The Design Change Management Engineer will be responsible for managing, documenting, and implementing changes to product design and development projects. This individual will work closely with the engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure all changes are thoroughly evaluated, approved, and communicated to all relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and manage the change request process for product design and development projects.• Work with the engineering and operations teams to evaluate and approve change requests.• Create and maintain engineering change documentation and ensure all necessary approvals are obtained.• Communicate change information to all relevant stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.• Ensure all change requests are properly tracked and recorded.• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates on change request progress.• Ensure change control processes are followed and all documentation is complete and accurate.• Assist in the implementation of new processes and systems related to engineering change management.• Ensure all regulatory and quality compliance requirements are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.• 1-3 years of experience in engineering change management or related field.• Strong organizational and project management skills.• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Knowledge of change management processes and systems.• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.• Familiarity with engineering drawings and specifications.• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
