[Position Description:
[Repairs, installs, and inspects electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications. Maintains and makes necessary operating adjustments to the productions electronic systems.

- Read and modify detailed engineering drawings and prints to adjust, test and repair equipment.
- Responsible for entering data in SAP PM (Plant maintenance)
- Program and trouble shoot PLC, robotics and vision systems.
- Troubleshoot automation manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic systems and servo drives.
- Interface with suppliers for maintenance parts
- Understand and apply engineering specifications, Change Orders, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Support daily production requirements.
- Support engineering project related activities

- Operate manlift.

[Qualifications:]{new="" roman="" times=""}
- 3 to 5 years of Electrical Maintenance experience preferred
- Good Mechanical aptitude
- Basic component and assembly process knowledge
- 1 to 3 years Robotic experience preferred.
- Experience with Cognex, Banner, Allen Bradley and Keyence automation equipment preferred.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic reading /writing/ and verbal skills
[Knowledge, Training, Skills and/or Experience: [Experience and education are great to come into this position with. However, it's not required, here at Wabash, we give you the training to become comfortable in any Electronics Controls Engineer Maintenance Technician position. Upon receiving an offer letter from us, you'll undergo orientation and several days of training, preparing you for the production floor.
