Sodexo is seeking our BILINGUl SPANISH Environmental Services-Custodial Operations Manager 2 for our client partners at the University of Louisiana Lafayette (https://louisiana.edu/about-us) . Our successful bilingual-Spanish candidate will have experience with managing environmental services in a campus environment, during special events and high-profile events including weddings, working flexible times, with the occasional night and weekend work.Our leader will have demonstrated experience mentoring a large team including explaining goals of contract to the team and be able to execute a plan and drive results. The ability to understand service needs and accurately scale labor needs for large high-profile special events on campus.

Our Sodexo Environmental Services teams work to direct housekeeping operations for our client-partners to deliver innovative solutions. These teams also have responsibility for driving client satisfaction by providing stellar customer service via effective communication with all levels of campus staff, as well as follow-through with action items that impact both client and student satisfaction. The successful candidate will:

• Be bilingual-Spanish ro lead our frontline hourly team

• Manage environmental services in a campus environment, during special events and high-profile events including weddings, working flexible times, with the occasional night and weekend work

• Have demonstrated experience mentoring a large team including explaining goals of contract to the team and be able to execute a plan and drive results

• Have the ability to understand service needs and accuratelyscale labor needs for large high-profile events

• Provide a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, visitors and staff

• Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores

• Work with the campus team to assure client satisfaction

• Effectively manages the Unit Operating System

• Support a diverse and inclusive workforce

• Are bilingual-Spanish

• Have experience leading and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service Possess strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion

• Have 3-5 years previous custodial and housekeeping or similar management experience

• Have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines

• Have in-depth knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures

• Have strong financial acumen and budget management experience

• Have experience driving customer service and guest satisfaction

• Are proficient with computers and other technology

• Have experience improving client satisfaction

• Can multi-task and set priorities

• Are results and safety driven

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
