TBEI - Lake Crystal has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Manager located at our Lake Crystal, MN manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking for a fast-paced work environment with many opportunities for growth.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Planning, developing, and executing, recruitment activities and reports aimed at efficient and accurate hiring of qualified candidates (includes advertising/postings, interviewing, reference checking, coordinating interviews with management and giving input towards hiring decisions, conducting job offers, related paperwork, etc.)Creating and maintaining a welcoming environment for employees and upholding the highest level of moral and ethical decisions in everything that we do.Review and work with Corporate HR to update policies and procedures for the facility that ensures a safe, compliant and engaged workforce.Complete, review and conduct new hire orientation program for each new employeeCreate and maintain productive partnerships with supervisors and employees to build an engaged workforce.Create a business partnership and support the General Manager of the facility.Facilitate and assist in the promotion of on-going training and company programs for on-boarding, Lean development and problem solving.Coordination and communication of Compensation and incentive program plans with site General Manager.Create a partnership with local schools and universities for future recruitment and ensuring the availability of the best talent and candidatesBuild a partnership and lead local marketing campaigns within the local community. Engage in local events and activities.Planning goals of department and creating action plans to attain these goalsMaintain local ORG Charts for current and future succession planning and training developmentAssisting VP of HR with projects as neededBuilding and maintaining department budget and ensuring the optimization of the funds used.Working with supervisors and ensuring time cards and the time system is accurate for payroll reportingMonthly dashboard updates and report outs on key HR metrics.Assisting safety manager with work comp reporting, training, documentation and maintaining OSHA journals and logsOther duties as assignedPosition Requirements:Preferred Bachelors degree in Business Administration or equivalent. Concentration/degree in Human Resources and/or PHR certification is a plus.Previous HR Generalist experience of 3-5 years is preferred.Previous experience working in an HRIS systemGood interpersonal skills to deal effectively with a wide variety of people promoting a positive company image.Independent decision making skills and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.Highest level of morals, ethics, and honestyAdvanced computer skills (Knowledge of Word, Excel, & PowerPoint preferred).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to continuously evaluate systems for most efficient usage, user friendliness, communication enhancement, and strive for continuous process improvements.Valid drivers license with a good driving record.Ability to attend and participate in required company meetings and community events.About us:Truck Bodies & Equipment International (TBEI) a Subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, is a leading manufacturer of dump bodies and trailers, landscape bodies, platforms, hoists, and truck and trailer equipment and accessories.
