Improve observability across the entire eco-system

Administer observability tools and solve observability related issues

Ensure system stability and reduce MTTR.

Define and implement modern incident management process to support DevOps. Manage the incident management escalation policies in VictorOps (Splunk On-Call)

Drive technical initiatives to improve automation, self-healing/remediation

Grow and evangelize the capabilities of the Dynatrace platform

Implementing unique distributed trace-id across all components of the system

Skills and Requirements

2-4+ years of experience

Strong concept of CI/CD pipelines

Demonstrate experience within the observability domain (traces, metrics, and logs).

Familiarity with tools like Datadog, Splunk (this team administers these tools)

Experience with Load testing Tools

Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Python, Java or Go- Python is preferred

Experience with cloud native technologies such as containers, Kubernetes, Istio.

Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.

Experience working with microservices.
