PT Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor - Staff Development

$30.00 - $43.20 per hour

Under the Direction of the Informatics RN/Staff Development Manager provides quality instruction for students with the objective of qualifying them for a California Certified Nursing Assistant license.

• Responsible for developing class curriculum and maintains an organized, disciplined classroom environment. (This includes an education program that is conducive to learning and imparts the requirements of the relevant workplace setting to existing students).
• Assists Staff Development Manager in creating policies and procedures as it relates to CNA job responsibilities.
• Serves as an educational resource for staff and management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Current California Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse license.
• A minimum of one year experience in long-term care and/or DSD certificate.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Clinical Educator preferred.
• A minimum of one year experience in an administrative position.
• Certification as an instructor in BLS preferred.
