System One is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator in Lake Mary, FL to manage and process invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role involves coordinating with various departments, such as procurement and operations, to ensure that all financial transactions are properly authorized and recorded. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Important Details:

  • 12-month contract opportunity

  • Pay rate range: Up to $25/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

  • Hybris work setting: 3 days in the office, 2 days work from home

  • Work schedule: Standard business hours. (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

  • Weekly pay

  • Benefits after 30 days (health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, etc.)

  • 401k after 30 days

  • Job offer will be contingent on drug screen and background check

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process a high volume of invoices in a timely manner. Ensure all invoices are matched with purchase orders, contracts, or other supporting documents.

  • Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies related to payments. Ensure vendor records are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Payment Processing: Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements, including investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

  • Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records, including filing and archiving of documents.

  • Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with company policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards. Assist with internal and external audits as required.

  • Reporting: Prepare and generate regular accounts payable reports, such as aging reports, to assist management with financial decision-making.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement and operations teams to ensure smooth processing of invoices and payments. Support other accounting functions as needed.

    Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Knowledge: Understanding of general accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
