Position Overview

Provides day-to-day leadership to the Benefits Support team. This position is accountable for delivering a positive customer experience, supporting team members, adhering to Company defined procedures and policies, and for meeting defined team and Company metrics. The Manager is responsible for working with other internal leaders and external groups to achieve Team and Paylocity objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering a best-in-class service experience for Paylocity customers.

  • Responsible for developing goals for their assigned teams.

  • Responsible for managing, developing, planning, and guiding initiatives to achieve accepted goals and meet published SLAs.

  • Responsible for personnel staffing, morale, measurement, and employee development

  • Responsible for evaluating processes involving internal and external partners and working with those partners to improve them.

  • Responsible for effective communication between all internal and external partners.

  • Responsible for development of KPIs, reporting over the KPIs to senior management and providing analytical commentary of KPI achievement vs. established targets.

  • Responsible for leading the team to achieve productivity and financial targets while being accountable to the approved fiscal budget.

  • Responsible for capturing data and working with our systems development teams to build the capabilities needed to support our customers well, allow for positive and efficient support experiences, and drive additional market opportunities.

Education and Experience

The minimum education, experience, skills, and certifications/training required to perform the job successfully.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years in an operational management role in a high-volume environment

  • Proven success of management concepts and practices including supervising and motivating employees, performance management, and employee development/training.

  • Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing change initiatives.

  • Project Management:

  • Experience managing employees working on both task-oriented and project-driven tasks is a strong plus

  • Experience managing tasks in a matrix project management environment is a strong plus

  • Experience developing and driving adoption of cross-departmental processes preferred

  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and making decisions using data. Prior benefits experience preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $74,600 - $138,600/yr; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for our variable commission plan, annual bonus, and restricted stock until grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
