Position: Manager of Human Resources

Location: Lake Stevens

Full time: Salary Exempt 40hr/week, Monday - Friday

Full Salary Range: $86,586.00 -- 112,561.80*

Hiring Wage: (Salary Exempt) $86,586.00 - $99,573.90 /year

*Actual Salary Range for this position is broader than hiring wage.

Position Summary

This position is an active member of the leadership team and is responsible for managing the organization's human resources (HR) function. This role will lead human resources with a diversity, equity and inclusion lens and be a trusted resource to the Chief Executive Officer, leadership team, and employees.  This position will plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, and initiatives to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs. This position will oversee, monitor and develop comprehensive HR strategies, policies and practices that create a diverse, respectful, welcoming and inclusive work environment for all employees. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Desired Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • HR Certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of human resources management experience
  • Human Resources experience within the non-profit sector preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to bring a DEI lens to work, both in interactions internally and in approaches to all organizational processes and policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff.
  • Knowledge of current WA leave/benefit regulations required.
  • Employee Benefit Administration.
  • Experience with job posting and advertisement process.
  • Ability to perform resume reviews and conduct informative pre-employment screening.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
  • Proficient in PC computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software, web browsers, HRIS and e-mail software.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and ability to develop relationships to be a team player.
