Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator

Job Description

As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be tasked with running the machine and ensuring the output of parts meets our standards. Daily responsibilities include loading material, initiating cycle starts, unloading material, performing tooling and insert changes, making offsets, and inspecting parts per blueprint specifications using various measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Additionally, you will document production runs and make minor program edits using G&M codes. Once trained, you will also perform setups on machines including Okuma and Daewoo.

Hard Skills

• Experience with CNC lathe operation

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints

• Skill in using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers

• Ability to make program edits using G&M codes

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lake Zurich, Illinois.

Work Environment

This is a 1st shift position with working hours from 6:30am to 3:00pm or 7:00am to 3:30pm. You will be working in a clean machine shop environment primarily operating Fanuc/Okuma controlled lathes.
