Insight Global Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Lakeland, Florida

Job Description

The healthcare facility in Lakeland, Florida, is enhancing its pediatric care services by seeking two dedicated professionals, an Acute Care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and a Physician Assistant (PA-C), to join their Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team for overnight shifts. These roles are critical in maintaining the continuum of care for the youngest patients, with responsibilities that span from admitting patients from the Pediatric Emergency Department (ED) to providing in-depth consultations with pediatric subspecialists. The chosen candidates will play a pivotal role in the PICU, a 12-bed unit designed with private rooms and family-centric amenities, ensuring a comforting environment for both patients and their families. Additionally, the facility boasts an impressive array of over 13 pediatric subspecialties available on-site, supplemented by comprehensive remote access to the broader health system's resources, fostering an integrated approach to pediatric healthcare. This opportunity represents not only a chance to contribute to a vital medical service but also to engage in the education and development of nurses, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and the next generation of medical professionals.
