Join the Publix team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for creating testing efforts for SharePoint solutions for an internal associate portal within the Publix Technology department. The ideal candidate will be experienced QA for a scrum team, working with developers, requirements analysts, cross-functional teams, and QA testers, coordinating the testing work among them.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the software and product testing efforts for the Corporate Systems Team

• Mentor/train other quality engineers on the team

• Work with project teams to understand system requirements and specifications of SharePoint applications making sure they match the acceptance criteria.

• Must work well within the team and be flexible with assignments, coordinate cross team testing efforts.

• Participate in requirements and design meetings to establish test effort estimates and develop testing strategies.

• Create comprehensive test plans with input from various project team members like product owner, analysts, and development team.

• Analyze and translate project documentation, release notes and other documentation into test scenarios.

• Capture the design of test cases and test procedures in Azure DevOps

• Build test cases, test sets and test scripts for backend and UI validations within a web-based development tool like Visual studio code.

• Design, build and execute automated tests using various test automation frameworks.

• Oversee and execute test scripts and results validation on projects.

• Ensure all Quality Assurance and testing activities are conducted throughout the lifecycle and that the results from these activities are verified.

• Facilitate defects tracking, problem determination and resolution throughout the life cycle.

• Perform hands on testing utilizing a lab of retail handheld devices and maintain those devices.

• Work in an agile environment that releases code to production on a regular and rapid basis.

Potential Annual Pay with Bonus:

Year End Bonus:

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or a related analytical discipline, or equivalent experience

• 4+ years of software application development life cycle environment that includes test analysis, test execution planning, test case development, testing and quality assurance experience.

• 4+ years of experience creating manual test strategies and general experience writing test scripts.

• 4+ years of experience using a web-based development tracking tool for managing identified bugs and defects, such as Quality Center, JIRA, or Azure DevOps

• 4+ years of experience leading QA to help deliver large enterprise solutions.

• 1+ years of experience in writing SQL queries and performing database validations and manipulation.

• 3+ years of experience testing APIs using Swagger or Postman, batch jobs, and web-based front ends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading a team of SQA analysts to plan, develop and execute testing.

• Experience with ADA compliance tools for testing

• Experience performing metric analysis and developing metric reports for assigned projects; presents project metrics information to management on project defects.

• An aptitude to understand application design models, programming languages, and software testing concepts and an interest in learning about software development and testing environments.

• Experience with automation testing from scratch based on application requirements using Visual Studio, C#, Selenium, SpecFlow, BDD, Playwright

• Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps and Azure Test Plan

• Experience in testing a content management system or intranet portal like SharePoint.

• Good hands-on experience with automation testing using Selenium, C# .NET.

• Experience in using .NET Test automation Frameworks like Nunit, xUnit.

• Experience in developing and maintaining code-based automation test frameworks for

• platform and backend process validations

• Extensive experience in automated testing of REST/SOAP/JSON API

• Experience in automating complex ETL, Data, Event and Message Processor validations.

• Experience automating test validations in Microsoft Azure Cloud environment.

• Experience in integrating test automation code with Azure CI/CD Pipelines

• Experience with mobile device testing
