Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities Join our team at Post Consumer Brands as an IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA) and play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing and supply chain processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and aligning our business strategies. This role requires an understanding of manufacturing and supply chain principles, robust analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across various functions. As the bridge between business and IT, you will serve as a dual expert, mastering both our business capabilities and the technology that supports them. You will take ownership of the systems that drive our business, understanding them inside and out. Your role will involve expanding system usage and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives across our IT application portfolio. Our BSAs provide comprehensive insights into IT and system capabilities and how they integrate into business processes. As an IT BSA, you will be part of a dynamic team of architects, system engineers, and other technical resources. Your contributions will be key in leveraging technology to drive business growth and success. Working Location: Hybrid This role is located at the Lakeville, MN Corporate office Typical hybrid schedule includes 3 days in-office with remote flexibility up to 2 days a week. #LI-hybrid Responsibilities and Accountabilities Optimize Software Applications: Apply deep understanding of manufacturing processes and their integration with business operations. Business Engagement: Regularly participate in business process/department/functional group activities to understand and address business needs and challenges. Facilitation and Collaboration: Lead sessions to gather user requirements, map current and future state processes, and provide technology-based solutions to business challenges. Documentation: Create system design documents and/or user stories to document functional specifications. System Configuration: Define, document, and implement changes to system configuration. Technical Guidance: Provide solution design guidance to technical team, focusing on functional design, business processes and solution value. Application Ownership: Identify technical debt and capability gaps, refine application roadmap considering emerging technologies, user feedback, and business priorities. Align the roadmap with the organization’s IT strategy. Project Support: Assist Project Managers and Business Managers in defining project scope, schedule, resources, and budget requirements. Testing Management/Coordination: Create, maintain and coordinate test scenarios, scripts, and data in collaboration with business partners for validating system design, configuration, integration and performance. Training Material Review: Assist in creating and reviewing training materials to ensure alignment with business processes and system solution/configuration. Level 3 Support: Handle Level 3 support issues escalated from IT Services Team. Facilitate cross-functional team efforts to drive root cause analysis and resolution of system issues. Qualifications Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience in a related field. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in business systems analysis, with a focus on authoring requirements and providing hands-on application support in large enterprise environment. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information. Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively. Preferred Experience and Capabilities The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in IT systems and technologies that are integral to supply chain and manufacturing operations, preferably in the Consumer-Packaged Good industry. This includes, but is not limited to, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and various business intelligence tools. A deep understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems, particularly in relation to their integration with shop-floor equipment and enterprise systems such as ERP, Inventory Management, and Maintenance Reliability, is highly desirable.
