Position Overview: This position is a dynamic and influential leader responsible for shaping the development and maturation of Compeer's Product Management capability. The incumbent is a visionary who can navigate and drive change in a fast-paced environment, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Leads cross-functional teams, leverages market insights to deliver impactful products, and inspires a shared sense of purpose. Cultivates a client-centric approach, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed market demands, while also championing a culture of continuous improvement and agility across the organization. Essential Functions: Product Management and Execution
- Oversees the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch through maturity, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of new features and enhancements.
- Partners across the organization including businesses, marketing and market insights teams to ensure client needs inform product decisions, drive investment and return value.
- Works closely within the BT organization to optimize the delivery and management of products.
- Defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the portfolio of products and make data-driven decisions.
- Represents Compeer at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, positioning the company as a thought leader in digital ag-finance.
Strategic Leadership and Execution
- Champions the brand; serves as a role-model for the vision, mission & values of the organization and supports Compeer's strategic initiatives.
- Develops and communicates a clear roadmap for the continued development and maturity of product management within Compeer, including culture, talent and including external (client-facing) and internal product management capabilities.
- Develops and communicates a clear product vision and strategy for the product portfolio, aligning with Compeer's overall business objectives and market demands.
- Develops enterprise product strategies (e.g. Enterprise API's) that create common capabilities that can be used across Compeer businesses to create speed-to-market for digital solutions
- Partners with Compeers Strategy and Innovation team to mature innovation process and ensure integration of technology product management principles where innovation has a technology component.
- Contributes to the BT strategy and transformation roadmap.
Team Leadership
- Creates and promotes a positive culture and work environment that fully leverages the talents and abilities of team members
- Leads, mentors, and inspires a team of product managers and owners, fostering a values and trust-based culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Selects, develops, motivates, and engages great talent to create and maintain a high-performing team; ensure a talent-pipeline to meet the future needs of the team.
- Effectively initiates, inspires and leads change within the team, BT and often across the organization.
- Creates and evolves the team structure and identifies capabilities and roles needed to evolve the Product Management team as progress is made in our product management journey
- Determines performance standards and development plans and effectively communicates them to team members.
- Manages the evaluation and compensation processes for direct and indirect reports.
- Coaches team members on more complex and challenging issues and decisions.
- Manages human capital budget and forecasting.
Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in business or computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to pe form the essential functions of the job.
- Minimum of 10 years of information technology experience, preferably in an agriculture and/or financial institution.
- Minimum of five years of leadership and management experience preferred.
- Exceptional people leadership and talent development skills including the ability to select, evaluate, engage, motivate, mentor, train, delegate, reward and lead team members.
- High learning agility with demonstrated ability to apply past experiences and learnings successfully in new situations.
- Demonstrated ability leverage values-based leadership to shape and influence culture; able to lead in a hybrid work environment.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Passion for innovation and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Strong strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to develop, articulate and execute strategy.
- High degree of curiosity across leadership, business and technology disciplines.
- Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.

- Expert-level knowledge of product management and Agile Solution Delivery principles.

- Valid driver's license.
