STV Incorporated Civil Engineer/Hydraulic Modeler (Water/Waste Water) in Lakewood, Ohio
STV's National Water Group has an immediate career opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer/Hydraulic Modeler to join our Water and Wastewater Hydraulic Modeling Team in any of our Texas, Oklahoma, North CarolinaPennsylvania, Georgia, New York, Ohio and Tennessee office locations. Key responsibilities will include hydraulic modeling, planning and design of water/wastewater collection systems throughout our office locations for our various projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field. Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related discipline preferred. Registered PE or the ability to sit for it in the next six months. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in hydraulic analysis and design, or related water and wastewater collection systems related to pressurized pumps/pipes. Hydraulic modeling experience in both steady state and extended period simulations. Experience with one or more of the following is required: InfoWorks ICM, InfoWater, InfoWater Pro, WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, InfoWorks ICM, SewerGEMS, or other similar software. Experience with ArcGIS is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare and delivery client presentations. Responsibilities Plans, coordinates, and directs hydraulic modeling analysis and design on multiple projects with many complex features. Interacts with project clients. Leads are collection system hydraulic modeling projects and programs. Preference to experience as model manager for large consent decree and wet weather-related programs for CSO and SSO reductions include large storage tunnels and storage tanks. Responsible for developing and mentoring less experienced staff. Performs hydraulic analyses, prepares hydraulic models, evaluates results, and summarizes results and recommendations to produce technical memorandums, master plan studies, conveyance analysis, storage analysis, and other water system improvement analyses. Coordinates production and/or provides QA/QC to ensure technical consistency and inclusion of appropriate documentation. Provides technical input/review of project deliverables. Supports scope, budgets and proposal preparation. Compensation Range: $74,291.00 - $99,054.00 Don't meet every single requirement?
