This position interfaces with local Commercial Account Managers, Product Group Managers, Operation Managers, Certifiers, Client Services staff, and Field Services. This role will support and promote the continued growth of new business for CSA Group Field Services. The Field Services Account Specialist will serve as an internal sales and customer contact for initial inquiries, project quotes and services. They will support the development of new accounts and the development of new opportunities within established accounts through customer service excellence. Responsibilities: Manages the sales process by promptly responding to all inquiries as necessary to present information. Supports the sales process, providing CSA Group information to prospective contacts/leads and referral customers. Determines client needs and expectations; relay necessary information to operations to maintain customer satisfaction. Prepares cost proposals of services for clients using applicable questionnaires & worksheets. Sends proposals to clients & conducts follow-up calls to provide further information, answers questions and documents these activities for further follow-up. Assists as needed with the operations group in opening an application file and completing documentation necessary for accepted proposals. Maintains accurate & complete client files, including the input of new/existing client information into the shared sales database. Establishes and maintains a list of preferred contacts based on reputation, influence and personal judgment. Develops sales leads through industry experience, internet research, trade show leads, trade magazines and other suitable resources. Provides information and input into the Commercial Unit to assist with the establishment of new opportunities and areas of focus for CSA Group services. Provides management support in weekly, monthly and annual sales reports and forecasts. Performs additional tasks and/or special project work as required Education and Experience: Post-secondary education preferred. Four year degree technical/scientific degree is a plus 2-5 years of sales, customer service, or marketing experience Skills: Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database applications; Sales Force experience a plus. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Excellent phone and customer service skills. Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks. Able to maintain positive contacts within all levels of the organization to exchange explain and interpret information or ideas and follow-up on client requests. Self-motivated and team-player.
