1 OTC Industrial Technologies is looking for an Industrial Field Sales Representative to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio! As an Industrial Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and professionals in the OTC products and services space. You will collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to identify solutions, conduct product presentations and demonstrations, and build lasting relationships with customers and vendors. In this role, you will perform equipment failure analyses, manage performance improvement programs, and provide start-up service and support when needed. Additionally, you'll strengthen connections through customer engagement and joint sales calls, while maintaining a deep knowledge of industry standards and products. What You'll Do: Engage with key decision makers in the Oil & Gas, Power, and Chemical industries. Collaborate with rotating equipment engineers and maintenance professionals to troubleshoot and solve problems Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to enhance customer knowledge and awareness Establish rapport and participate in joint sales calls with manufacturers represented by AirTech Attend sales meetings and stay up to date on industry trends Maintains a high knowledge level of products, processes, and the latest industry trends Entertains customers and/or vendors, including after hours to strengthen relationships. Provides start-up service and support when required Perform failure analysis of mechanical equipment and report findings Manage equipment performance improvement programs, report actions and results in quarterly meetings Travel within specified Eastern Ohio territory Other duties may be assigned What You'll Need: A comprehensive five years of industrial technology sales experience or a minimum of two years of experience in compressed air equipment sales with a college degree preferred Strong computer skills including proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (Selltis a plus) Valid drivers' license with clean driving record Influential customer service skills with a talent for building relationships; Customer-centric focus (internal and external customers) Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor Accomplished at working both independently and as an active team member Comfortable making cold calls and engaging in conversations utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills Mechanical aptitude including an understanding of rotating equipment, fabrication/manufacturing of equipment and machine shop processes preferred Ability to interpret industry standards and engineering specifications (API and ASME) Perks of Working with OTC Industrial Technologies: Health and Wellness Medical, dental, and vision care coverage Short-and long-term disability coverage, and life insurance Wellness Discount Safety shoes & glasses reimbursement stipend Financial Benefits 401(k) savings plan with an employer match of 50% on the dollar up to 6% Robust referral bonuses Relocation assistance Work-Life Balance PTO Tuition assistance Who we are: At OTC Industrial Technologies, our people drive our success.
