Key Areas of Responsibility: Project Delivery: Provide client consultation: perform analyses of customer security needs and recommend, design, and implement secure server and network environments. Provide technology support: install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot servers, networks, firewalls, VPNs, and other security products, providing solutions to complex hardware/software problems. Test LAN/WAN/WLAN security products: implement test plans, evaluate test equipment, design test networks, and aid in the development of automated test suites. Create and execute test plans to meet project requirements for assigned components. Ensure solution is implemented as designed to the customer's satisfaction and approval. Effectively communicate security policy, technology issues and product capabilities through both high-quality written documents and unstructured interviews to all levels of clients. Manage time and expense to meet or exceed expectations defined in the Statement of Work. Provide high-quality content deliverables using the appropriate document templates. Regularly interface with technical and business staff of customers, including the project sponsor and stakeholders of projects in more complex engagements. Serve as technical point of contact on customer engagements. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. Serve as an advisor to leadership on advanced customer engagements. Peer Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to peers within the team. Lead technical calls and initiatives as appropriate. Serve as a technical thought leader for delivery, presales and R&D as appropriate. Team and Practice Development: Participate in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade converged network security solutions. Identify and communicate potential opportunities for cross-selling to the sales team. Contribute to pre-sales activities and initiatives. Contribute to services development, including the creation of new services. Self-Development: Develop and complete an education plan to grow your skills consistent with client needs. Keep up to date with network security trends and products. Continuously update knowledge and skills to stay relevant and effective in the field. Pursue relevant certifications or training to enhance expertise.
