Regional Sales Manager Category: Sales Employment Type: Direct Hire Reference: BH-381437 Overview: Face of the Turning (CNC) & Fabrication division to accounts in assigned territory (OH, IN & KY). Drive sales growth and strategy by calling on customers and distributors to promote products and technology, achieve design-ins, and achieve total customer satisfaction. Provide documentation and maintenance of client relationship management (CRM) data. Handle sample follow-up, forecasting, and approval of design registrations. Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive growth at new, target, and focus accounts within the responsible territory. Follow and communicate market trends. Work with the internal business development team to create focus opportunity strategies. Coordinates non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), price negotiations, and margin management. Manage customer performance to forecast, communicate new pricing with overseas sales departments, and lead Business Review meetings. Takes a leadership role in customer meetings and conferences calls, publishes minutes, and drives action items to closure. Ability to understand customer needs and develop mutually beneficial solutions. Skills: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing in Machine Tools or CNC or other technical industries. Hunter's mentality to close business opportunities. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills along with strong business acumen. Excellent written and oral communication skills including a strong ability to present information to all types of audiences. Strong organizational, judgment, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and produce deliverables. Strong people skills and ability to build internal and external relationships across multiple functions and levels. Experience working for a culturally diverse global company with strong collaborative skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent. years of relevant work experience in an electronic/mechanical/industrial related or other technical industry. Previous experience in manufacturing sales, sales data collection and analysis. Knowledge of Marketing, market planning and knowledge of the consumer electronic industries. Previous budgetary responsibilities and project management experience. Travel: 50% local and domestic (OH, IN & KY) travel and possibly International on occasion. Travel to Charlotte, NC on occasion for Demo, Project Support & Run Off. Compensation: 80k -90k + Commission & Benefits Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
