Skookum is seeking a motivated and reliable Floor Crew with a professional attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Carpet spotting - spot clean heavily soiled carpet prior to shampooing. Carpet shampooing - operate industrial carpet cleaner to shampoo carpets according to schedule. Sweeping - sweep each area according to schedule. Vacuuming - vacuum each area according to schedule. We/dry vacuum - operate wet/dry vacuum for each area according to schedule. Wet/dry mopping - wet/dry mop each area according to schedule. Strip wax from floor - apply stripping solution either manually or with floor care equipment according to schedule. Fill and empty mop buckets. Mix chemicals. Clean and put away equipment after use. Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties. Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
