Sealing Devices IT Support Technician in Lancaster, New York

Description

About this role: The IT Support Technician is responsible for the installation, support and maintenance of desktops, laptops and peripheral devices and will work under the supervision of the Network Administrator, providing help desk support for onsite and remote users.

    What you will do:

  • Install and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices (printers/scanners).

  • Administer user accounts.

  • Primary contact for all help desk requests.

  • Manage/support Company cell phones.

  • Maintain inventory of all end devices and Windows applications.

  • Monitor and address desktop security issues.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    What you will need to succeed:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with an Associate Degree in Information Technology or a related field.

  • At least 1 year of relevant job experience, working as a Help Desk or Technical Support Specialist in a manufacturing or business environment.

  • Basic PC setup and trouble shooting proficiency.

  • Basic understanding of server / client architecture in a Microsoft-based environment.

  • Familiarity with repair and support of PC peripheral devices such as printers and scanners.

  • Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts such as IP Addressing, DHCP and DNS.

    Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual team members. Salary range for this role is $22 to $25/hour based upon experience.
