DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Arconic is currently in search of Mechanical Planner/Scheduler to join our Hot Mill Maintenance team in Lancaster, PA.

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler exists to support the objectives of the plant and assigned areas in managing the 24/7 planning and scheduling of the craft personnel and maintenance work throughout the facility.

Plan, organize, coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, plant projects or project assignments utilizing in-house maintenance personnel, outside contractors or venders. Position includes but is not limited to: 1) project lay-out/scope of work; 2) purchase of needed parts and /or materials from bill-of-material; 3) basic specification and design and development of prints; 4) submittal of contract bids for quote and award; 5) project and contracted service oversight, i.e. project leader. The primary objective of the Maintenance Planner position is to facilitate daily work assignments and projects for maintenance personnel and contractors to ensure the tasks are performed to high quality standards and in an efficient and timely manner. Basic Qualifications  * High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution * Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications  * Minimum 1-year Project Leader experience * Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution * Working knowledge of ADEPT * Working knowledge of AutoCad  * Experience with Oracle eAM * Associates degree in a technical discipline: Welding, Metal Fabrication, Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, Sheet Metal, Machine Shop, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Heating-Ventilation-Air-Conditioning (HVAC) from an accredited institution
