Pediatric Neurologist- Outpatient Specialty Care Centers

The Division of Child Neurology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several positions in the clinician tracks.

We are recruiting board-eligible or board-certified Child Neurologists for our satellite outpatient clinics, which include Pennsylvania-based locations (Chalfont, Lancaster) as well as New Jersey-based locations in Voorhees and Princeton. We seek child neurologists with broad clinical skills who are interested in a dynamic practice combining clinical excellence with academic and teaching opportunities.

Program Highlights:

Join a team of 70 Child Neurology attending physicians and scientists.

Our ACGME-accredited 5-year child neurology residency program matches 7 residents per year.

Our Neuroscience Center integrates world-renowned specialists in Child Neurology and Neurosurgery to provide precise diagnoses, individualized clinical care, and cutting-edge surgical treatments to achieve groundbreaking discoveries.

Education Qualifications

Doctorate Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Skills and Abilities

Working knowledge of hospital policies, practices and protocols as well as applicable regulations and guidelines. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. (Required proficiency)

Skills in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving, decision-making. (Required proficiency)

Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients and the public. (Required proficiency)

Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports. (Required proficiency)

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and electronic). (Required proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

Medical License - in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and any states practicing in - upon hire - Required and

Board Certification - Medical Sub/Specialty - - upon hire - Required and

DEA License - - upon hire - Required
