Robert Half Sales Financial Analyst in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Description
Our client, a food manufacturer in the Lancaster County area seeks a sales financial analyst to join their team due to growth!
The successful sales financial analyst will be the liaison between finance, the retail division and the sales teams.
The successful sales financial analyst will have the following responsibilities:
Collaborate with field sales managers to maintain trade spending plans: tracking trade promotional contracts and spending, entering off-invoice and fixed spend into the system and ensuring the accuracy of the input and compliance with the retail promotions program policy.
Maintain tables for integrity of customer and material data.
Review customer deductions taken upon payment and validate against trade promotional contracts so they can be deducted from the customer account in a timely manner.
Validate and approve for payment, claim and settlement requests for promotional and operator agreement programs.
Perform monthly analysis related to trade promotions, customer performance, deduction disputes and timeliness of deduction settlements.
Month-end KPI reporting.
Requirements
The successful sales financial analyst will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Business/Finance related field.
2+ years of experience, preferably in accounting, finance or related role
Strong experience in Excel using complex formulas commonly used with analyzing data.
Experience with SAP.a big plus!
Trade promotion or Dispute Management experience a big plus!
Experience with business warehouse and reporting tool, i.e. Power BI.
Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended
Trade Processing experience preferred
Solid understanding of sales analysis & reporting
Experience with Trade Processing
Command of Power BI
Adeptness in SAP
Deep understanding of KPI Reporting
Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions
Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Background in financial analysis and planning
