Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide strategic direction of all financial functions to a line of business (Consumer, Commercial, or Shared Services), which includes providing value added ideas, advice and recommendations on financial matters including future course of action to support strategic decision making, improved performance, minimized risk and new opportunities for growth. This position will oversee the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in the development and delivery of prospective financial analysis models, budgets, forecasts and reporting in support of line of business (LOB) planning and management decisions, as well as provide direction on deliverables as per the needs of the LOBs.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and oversight of all financial functions for a major LOB, frequently engaging LOB leadership to gain knowledge and understanding of strategic goals and objectives, document financial analysis needs to support planning and decisions, and collaborate to develop budgets, targets and metrics. Direct and/or manage the development and delivery of standard and ad-hoc reporting, forecasts and risks, identify data needs and gaps, determine reporting content, format and schedules, present and interpret reporting directly to segment LOB and corporate leadership as needed. Direct FP&A team in the creation of deliverables for the LOBs in order to manage LOB evolving needs, provide high-level oversight of the creation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of new reporting in FP&A systems and provide support as needed. Coordinate internal audit and regulatory examinations as required, ensure proper financial controls are in place and that financial transactions support the overall business strategy while conforming with applicable laws and regulations. Evaluate effectiveness of reporting, solicit feedback, prepare recommendations and execute process changes, promote a culture of constant improvement Plan, assign and evaluate the work of staff directly or through subordinate managers, screen and select candidates, provide guidance and coaching, establish individual goals and objectives, monitor volume, workflow and quality, manage performance to include conducting performance appraisals, make pay recommendations, partner with Human Resources to resolve employment related issues

Qualifications

Education Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting. (Required)Experience 10 or more years corporate finance. (Required) 5 or more years banking. (Required) 3 or more years management or team leader role. (Required)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excel fluency (Required) Ability to summarize large amounts of information into succinct bullet points (Required) Ability to apply outside economic and financial environment to analyses (Required)

Pay Transparency

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges on all job postings regardless of state. We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. The salary range for this position is $94,200.00 - $157,000.00 annually.

Additional Compensation Components This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
