SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provides a safe and secure hospital environment for all patients, visitors, and Lancaster Medical Center (LMC) employees. Protects LMC property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Directly supervises security officers assigned to Lancaster Medical Center. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and applicable laws. Creates, maintains and approves Security Officers scheduling and post assignments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High School diploma or equivalent and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Must have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license: (proof required upon request).

• CPI and MOAB must be obtained within 12 months of hire or transfer date to role.
