Quad Production Artist in Landover, Maryland

Quad has an exciting opportunity for a Production Artist to work on-site with one of our clients in Landover, Maryland. A successful candidate will use their experience in production design to exceed client expectations and interpret client directions to create layouts within our fast paced environment. The purpose of this position is to implement sales and marketing programs into a cohesive consumer friendly communication that maintains brand standards. This role is accountable for the timely creation and delivery of the client’s key customer communication vehicle.

Qualified candidates will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to thrive in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision. Attention to detail is a must. This position allows for a hybrid schedule. The salary for this role will be 50-60K and

Responsibilities:

  • Create and produce layouts that promote the client’s brand and sales objectives

  • Ability to receive and provide creative direction

  • Ability to interpret and execute internal edits and client instructions

  • Perform specific corrections as needed, determined by evaluation of provided copy and/or soft proof evaluation

  • Weekly reporting on various aspects of production process

  • Setup of templates and preparing system processes each week

  • Work efficiently through high volumes and tight deadlines

    Qualifications:

  • Associate or Technical degree in Art, Graphic Design, or relatable program

  • 3 years of experience designing and producing marketing support materials

  • Knowledge of creating and working with templates and style sheets; including page formatting of copy, placing photos and artwork; producing multiple versions

  • Proficiency in all Mac-based, industry-standard software programs including, but not limited to, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

  • Experience with data-driven production

  • Knowledge of all steps required for the print process and an understanding of production methods to ensure designs can be produced for print delivery
