Responsibilities
Work as part of cross-functional Agile and SDLC project teams
5+ years’ experience as a business analyst supporting Agile teams
Participate in the planning and prioritization of product, release, and sprint backlogs
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Coordinate with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and need
Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal colleagues and customers to analyze platform needs and clarify, refine and document requirements
Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to translate requirements into application deliverables
Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to document and communicate the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
Manage client relations to ensure that expectations are managed and fulfilled and high quality analysis is delivered on or before time
Develop recommendations and methodologies to help Business capture the most critical, actionable data to achieve their objectives
Develop use cases to assure the quality of the Technology product built to meet requirements of the business workflows
Facilitate/lead in meetings at the business, operational and project levels
Qualifications
5+ years work as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in an Agile environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools with particular skill with Excel, PowerPoint and VISIO
Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
Strong communication and collaborative skills with other team members and customers
Experience working with Rational CLM is a strong plus
Education:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related scientific /technical discipline and 5+ years’ experience
Clearance:
Must be US Citizen or US Lawful Permanent Resident
Must be Federal Tax Compliant
The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation
Active IRS MBI clearance a plus
