Full Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities including installation, troubleshoot, repair, preventative maintenance and emergency repairs at 7 locations in the Ocala, FL area. This role will be part-time or full-time based on your availability and skill level. The schedule is flexible and work can be performed at any time of day. Additional responsibilities will include:
Completes store work orders, accurately and on time
Performs repairs including being “on call” to perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment outside of normal working hours
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust
Monitor & perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment according to preventative maintenance schedule (daily, weekly, monthly)
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
REQUIREMENTS
Competent skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
Ability to diagnose problems and develop solutions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain the diagnosis and solution
Travel between stores required
Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
