Ultium Cells Executive Administrative Assistant in Lansing, Michigan

Ultium Cells is a joint venture lithium-Ion automotive battery cell manufacturing plant between LG Energy Solutions and General Motors. This new construction high-technology plant will have the latest battery cell manufacturing technology. The investment in this new business venture represents a commitment of more than $2.3 Billion. It will be among the largest battery cell manufacturing plants in the world. Ultium Cells will produce battery cells for General Motors North American electric vehicle applications.

The Ultium cell partners include LG Energy Solutions; the world's largest manufacturer of automotive battery cells in the world and General Motors a global company committed to delivering safer, better and more sustainable ways for people to get around.

Position Title: *Executive Administrative Assistant  Location: *Lansing, MI; Warren, OH; or Spring Hill, TN

Job Type: *Full-time *

*Pay: *$50,000 to $65,000 overtime eligible 

 

Job Summary:

Ultium Cells is looking for an organized, outgoing, and detail orientated Executive Assistant. This role requires professionalism, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to manage an ever-changing calendar. This role reports to the HR Director, Ultium Cells, LLC and will also support the Vice President, Operations and Plant Directors in a variety of executive functions.

 

*Job Responsibilities:  *

  • Organize and prepare for meetings, including compiling agendas, gathering documents and coordinating logistics of meetings, such as booking conference rooms and arranging catering. Attend meetings for minute taking, following up on action items.
  • Represent the Company and the Executive Team with professionalism in all interactions, both internal and external
  • Handle all incoming donation and sponsorship requests.
  • Conduct special projects, as needed, including organizing team and culture building events.

``` - Manage a wide variety of complex and confidential situations by exercising discretion and independent judgment. - Prepare correspondence on behalf of executives as needed. - Comprehensive administrative support to Executive team - Draft, review and revise correspondence, e-mail, reports and multi-media presentation - Ability to work overtime if business needs require. - Make copies and send faxes as necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years in administrative experience
  • Strong office skills and knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite (365) is required.
  • Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with great attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team and efficiently.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to hand multiple tasks and set priorities.
  • High confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Experience with ADP or Workday would be an asset.
  • Proven ability to use independent judgment required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload for executive management.
