Insight Global Help Desk Technician in Lansing, Michigan

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Helpdesk Technician to join their team. These positions will support two large projects being kicked off by the City this summer. One candidate will be supporting a set up and deploy for 250 new laptops for city employees. In this project, this candidate will be responsible for imaging and deploying these computers and making sure that they have all of the required applications installed for that city employee. Will be providing help desk support if there is any issues in deploying like setting up printers, troubleshooting concerned etc. Another candidate will be supporting the cell phone software migration project. In this role, they will be working with every city employee, 550+, setting up times for them to come into the IT center to software reset their current phone and add a new software onto it. This could also include adding upgrades to phones or switching out completely.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years' experience in troubleshooting and experience working with help desk software, running software migrations and implementations on cell phones (iOS or Android), imaging and deploying laptops

Associate degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience

Experience troubleshooting in a windows environment and using Microsoft Office productivity tools Plusses:
