State of Michigan-DTMB ITPA11 - DevSecOps Developer in Lansing, Michigan

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. This position is with Agency Services area of DTMB.

 

This position functions as an ITPA11 DevSecOps Developer within the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget (DTMB) Agency Services supporting the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Administration & Departmental Solutions division. As an Application Developer focusing on DevSecOps, the employee will implement best practices for application lifecycle management build and release processes using Azure DevOps including, but not limited to, automation to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), branching strategies, project security, automated code review, and automated testing to meet the goals and mission of the agency. This position has also responsibilities during all phases of the software development lifecycle to assist the team in the configuration and setup, management, and security of web applications using IIS on web servers.

Information Technology Programmer/Analyst P11

Possession of a Bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.

 

 

Experience

No specific type or amount is required.

 

Alternate Education and Experience

Information Technology Programmer/Analyst P11

Possession of an associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in computer science, information assurance, data processing, computer information, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, IT project management, or mathematics and two years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician; or two years (4,160 hours) of experience as an Information Technology Student Assistant may be substituted for the education requirement.

 

OR

 

Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and four years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, information technology technician, or four years (8,320 hours) of experience as an Information Technology Student Assistant may be substituted for the education requirement.
