This position is in PCG’s Human Services practice area on the Employment & Economic Services (EES) team. The EES team supports government entities to assess, refine and implement initiatives for public assistance programs that help customers achieve social and economic self-sufficiency, such as Medicaid, TANF, SNAP, workforce and infrastructure development. Some of our main areas of expertise include program startup, workforce development, business process re-design and cross-sector collaboratives. Our mission is to deliver transformative solutions to government agencies and their partners that improve communities and support individuals. The team is seeking to add a Business Analyst that will help us fulfill this mission, particularly as we try to expand our services to public health agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts business analysis for the various business platform.

  • Prepares and presents parts of written status reports for clients.

  • Prepares and presents agendas and written status reports to and for clients.

  • Completes analysis on large data sets.

  • Develops competency in enterprise IT system analysis and development.

  • Develops competency in federal and state policy, specifically federal funding requirements.

  • Assists with the implementation of major project phases or tasks.

  • Participates on proposal writing teams, including writing and coordinating submissions.

  • Participates in data collection activities including conducting research, note taking and information distillation, and data entry.

  • Assists with preparation of other written reports, major deliverables, and other materials for clients.

  • Collects and enters project related data.

  • Assists in the development and maintenance of project budgets and prepare client invoices.

  • Other responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in consulting, government, public health, human services or other relevant field.

  • Demonstrated commitment and passion for working with underserved and diverse populations

  • Knowledge or experience with social determinants of health and efforts to reduce health disparities (preferred)

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: 51,900- 65,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
