The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager of Product Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, prioritize features, and ensure successful product launches. We are seeking a Manager for our Product Management team who will oversee a group of associate product managers. The main responsibilities for this role include providing mentorship and support to the team members in their daily tasks. Furthermore, you will be responsible for representing the customers and collaborating with partners to analyze and research standard methodologies, while regularly monitoring key process indicators. The Manager also serves as project lead and ongoing advisor for specific functions in product delivery and product life cycle initiatives.

The Work Itself

  • Influence analytical and data-driven functions with extensive deep dives into current strategies and recommend strategic direction.
  • Propose strategies to enhance current capabilities impacting all product life cycle stages.
  • Take ownership of all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provide a single point of contact for those projects.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team.
  • Lead and develop a team of product managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive their professional growth and development.
  • Define and implement the product roadmap, aligning it with the business overall strategic goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to capture requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product launches.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation.
  • Define and track key product metrics to measure the success and impact of product initiatives.
  • Work closely with collaborators to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and standard processes in product management and share knowledge and insights with the team.
  • Work closely with the product development team(s) providing guidance regarding scope, release content, priority.
  • Support the product development activities as required (e.g. journey & user mapping, sprint planning & grooming, ideation sessions, etc.).
  • Stay apprised of new technologies and data initiatives and recommend their integration into the product roadmap.
  • Play key role with the process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas brought by the business/customers/collaborators. Incorporating user research, proof of concepts, and pilots with customers to maintain product and market fit.
  • Provide data and analysis to develop value models, valuation, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for possible new features and functionality.
  • Oversight of the release cadence and delivery of the product’s critical initiatives from idea intake through deployment and release to the market.
  • Provide a key role in facilitating the Go to Market activities for new products or services.
  • Through coordination with Product Management leadership:
  • Plan and communicate product roadmap priorities and strategies to key team members.
  • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product improvements though deep analysis, understanding customers’ competitive landscape, reviewing products specifications and requirements.
  • Identify and maintain product dashboard to monitor real-time product health, product baselines to validate feature release goals/values.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience in agile methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and handling products from conceptualization to market.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to collaborate optimally with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing situations.
  • Strong relationship building skills and experience operating within a matrix organization.

Base Pay Range:

Emerging: 90000

Experienced: 120000

Expert: 150000

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
