About the role As Cochlear continues to grow and service our customers, we are recruiting for a Talent Development Partner in our Americas head to support our Americas region. This role offers a remote work environment with travel. In alignment with our organizational principle of providing a safe work environment, employees of Cochlear are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You are a passionate learning professional who will work closely with regional business leaders and global colleagues to implement globally aligned learning programs to include leadership development, diversity and inclusion, culture, engagement and broader learning and team building initiatives. You will be responsible for coaching and developing leaders through immersive learning experiences to set them up for success in their roles, supporting ongoing development initiatives to ensure our people can continue to meet our evolving needs, and serving as a trusted business partner to our people managers. Key Responsibilities: * Deploy and deliver global learning and Leadership Development programs, culture initiatives, competency framework and other up-skilling initiatives (e.g., SLII, Myers Briggs Type Indicator, 360 assessments) * Deploy and deliver D&I, engagement, and culture initiatives in alignment with global strategy and programs * Design and deliver region-specific initiatives. Provide advice to managers on specific local/functional needs. Prepare team or function learning needs analysis and consulting, leverage global programs and tools and supplement locally where needed * Partner with the global learning solutions team to design and deploy learning solutions using a variety of modalities in line with the global learning strategy including, but not limited to, e-learning, virtual learning and social learning * Develop people leaders and employees to create Individual Development Plans and ownership to explore career opportunities through learning and development activities * Provide advanced functional leadership and direction to staff with a focus on talent development, coaching and mentorship; and engage in and lead team members in providing timely feedback, coaching conversations, addressing performance gaps, and providing challenging feedback and guidance Key Requirements To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview: * Bachelor's Degree * 5+ years of experience in Talent Developm
