Representing clients in IRS Examinations, Appeals, and other administrative hearings * Advocating for penalty abatement and late regulatory elections, including 9100 relief * Advocate on clients' behalf before IRS collections and all 50 state tax agencies * Research and consult on various tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries when requested, make recommendations to the client for consideration * * Invest in professional development through active participation in training sessions and networking events both internally and externally * Demonstrate excellent team skills, positive attitude and high ethical standards Qualifications Qualifications * JD, CPA, or EA Required. * Five (5) or more years of experience in a professional services firm providing tax compliance services or equivalent government agency. Previous experience in tax examination, tax advocacy or controversy a plus * Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required * Ability to provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment and exhibit a sense of urgency
