Weekly Pay:

• 1st shift: $13.25
• 2nd shift: 14.75/hr
• 3rd shift: $14.75/hr

Job Summary:

Since 1987, this Tier 2 Automotive, Signs & Displays, Industrial, Commercial Truck, Home & Building, Commercial, and Lighting supplier has used unlimited focus and determination to provide excellence in quality, delivery and support to its customers --- with a wide variety of both custom and standard extruded plastic products. As a result of rapid expansion, the 40,000 square foot building now requires a few entry-level machine operators to join the team. To be successful, you must embody great attitude, attendance, and performance, prioritizing quality, safety, and attention to detail.

Job Description:

• Machine Setup and Operation: Set up machines, including loading materials, selecting tools, and adjusting settings to produce components according to blueprints and technical drawings.
• *Quality Control: *Perform regular inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, go / no go gauges, etc.) to ensure adherence to specifications and tolerances.
• Blueprint Reading / Data Entry: Read all blueprints, diagrams, and specifications, following all instructions as written. Count and record all production numbers and scrap in the computer system accurately and timely.
• *Safety Compliance: *Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of all personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

6 months Machine Operator Experience Preferred

Ability to measure parts using calipers, micrometers, go / no go gauges

Basic computer and data entry skills

Punctuality, positivity, team player attitude

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs unassisted and stand for up to 8 hours per day

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
